Many patients and their families are affected by age-related memory loss, mild cognitive impairment, dementia and Alzheimer's disease. Our specialists assess memory, mood, behavior and functional ability to develop treatment plans to optimize older patients’ quality of life.

Every year, one in four people age 65 and older experiences a fall, which can cause both physical harm and psychological distress. Our specialized evaluations include a medical and medication history review and a complete physical exam, including vision, hearing, walking and balance, to assess each patient’s risk of falling. Our team then makes recommendations to reduce risks.

It can be difficult for patients with chronic conditions to think about the type of health care they’d like to receive in the event they can’t make their own decisions. We’re here to help them develop an advance directive that clearly states their wishes and preferences, ensuring they receive the care they desire if and when they cannot advocate for themselves.
